Day-by-Day Itinerary

Your safari begins early with a private transfer from your hotel in Zanzibar to Zanzibar International Airport. After check-in, board your scheduled domestic flight to Arusha, enjoying spectacular aerial views of Tanzania’s landscapes. Upon arrival at Arusha Airport, your Beyond the World Safaris professional driver-guide will welcome you and begin your journey to Tarangire National Park. Explore this peaceful wilderness famous for ancient baobab trees, open savannah landscapes, and large elephant populations. Enjoy a hot picnic lunch served at a private table inside the park before continuing your afternoon and early evening game drive. Search for elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, antelopes, lions, and other wildlife as the golden sunset creates unforgettable photography opportunities. Later, transfer to Marera Valley Lodge for dinner, relaxation, and overnight.

June to October is the classic dry season with excellent game viewing. January to March is calving season in the southern Serengeti. The Mara River crossings peak July–September.
