Day-by-Day Itinerary
Your Kilimanjaro adventure begins at 08:00 AM with a private transfer from Arusha to Machame Gate, the starting point of the famous Machame Route. Upon arrival, meet your professional mountain guides, porters, and cooks who will support you throughout your journey to Uhuru Peak. While your team completes park registration and permit procedures, final preparations will be made before beginning your climb. The trek starts through Kilimanjaro’s beautiful cloud rainforest, featuring towering trees, moss-covered vegetation, giant ferns, and rich biodiversity. Your guide will introduce you to the mountain ecosystem while maintaining a comfortable pace for your first day. As you gain altitude, the dense forest gradually changes into heath and grassland areas, with possible first views of Kibo Peak appearing on clear days. Porters and cooks will prepare camp ahead of your arrival. At Machame Camp, enjoy a hot dinner, a trek briefing, and your first night surrounded by the peaceful sounds of the mountain forest.
