Day-by-Day Itinerary

After breakfast at your hotel in Arusha, your Beyond the World Safaris professional driver-guide will warmly welcome you before departing for Tarangire National Park. Known for its towering baobab trees, seasonal swamps, and the life-giving Tarangire River, the park is home to some of Tanzania's largest elephant populations and an abundance of wildlife. Upon arrival, enjoy an exciting game drive through diverse landscapes while searching for elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, wildebeests, impalas, warthogs, and numerous bird species. Around midday, enjoy a delicious picnic lunch in a scenic area within the park before continuing your wildlife adventure throughout the afternoon. Later, depart Tarangire and drive to the charming town of Karatu for check-in, dinner, relaxation, and overnight at Farm of Dreams Lodge.

June to October is the classic dry season with excellent game viewing. January to March is calving season in the southern Serengeti. The Mara River crossings peak July–September.
