Day-by-Day Itinerary
Your safari adventure begins with a morning transfer from your accommodation in Zanzibar to Zanzibar International Airport. Board your scheduled flight to Mikumi National Park while enjoying beautiful aerial views as the coastal landscapes transform into Tanzania's wilderness. Upon arrival at Mikumi airstrip, your professional driver-guide will welcome you and begin your first game drive through the park. Explore Mikumi's open plains while searching for elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, antelopes, and lions. Around midday, enjoy lunch before transferring to Lilac Safari Camp for check-in and relaxation. Later in the afternoon, head out for another exciting game drive when wildlife becomes more active and the soft evening light creates excellent photography opportunities. Return to camp for dinner and overnight surrounded by the peaceful sounds of the African bush.
