Day-by-Day Itinerary
Your safari adventure begins early in the morning with a transfer from your hotel in Dar es Salaam to the airport for your scheduled flight to Nyerere National Park. Enjoy breathtaking aerial views as the city landscape transforms into endless wetlands, rivers, forests, and untouched wilderness. Upon arrival at the park's airstrip, you will meet your professional safari guide and begin your journey into one of Africa's largest protected ecosystems. The day's highlight is a peaceful boat safari along the famous Rufiji River, where you will experience close encounters with hippos, crocodiles, and abundant birdlife while enjoying spectacular river scenery. Later, continue to Rufiji River Camp for lunch, check-in, and relaxation.
