Day-by-Day Itinerary

Your adventure begins with an early morning transfer from your hotel in Zanzibar to Zanzibar International Airport for your scheduled domestic flight to Arusha. Upon arrival, connect to your onward flight to Seronera Airstrip in Central Serengeti National Park. Your Beyond the World Safaris professional guide will warmly welcome you upon landing before beginning an exciting game drive through the famous Seronera Valley. Explore endless golden plains filled with lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and numerous antelope species. Around midday, enjoy a freshly prepared hot picnic lunch at a scenic location inside the park before continuing your afternoon safari as wildlife activity increases during the cooler hours. In the evening, arrive at Tukaone Serengeti Camps for check-in, dinner, and an overnight stay surrounded by the sounds of the African wilderness.

June to October is the classic dry season with excellent game viewing. January to March is calving season in the southern Serengeti. The Mara River crossings peak July–September.
